Wayne Pinkney
Founder and Owner
Wayne Pinkney BEd, BComm, MEd, is the Founder and Owner marking his 30th year of service at Pinkney Financial Services.
Wayne Pinkney moved the Pinkney family to Fort McMurray when he took the post of Principal at Peter Pond Junior-Senior High School in Fort McMurray in August of 1975. After 20 years as a school administrator, Wayne decided on an early retirement establishing Pinkney Financial Services in 1995. In 2022, Wayne received the Business Lifetime Achievement Award from the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce for his Financial Services provided to the community.
Lindsay Pinkney
Managing Director
Lindsay Pinkney BEd, MIOPsy, CPHR, is serving as the Managing Director at Pinkney Financial Services.
Lindsay moved to the United States in 1995 to pursue her bachelor and master’s degree while competing in NCAA Division 1 track and cross-country on a full athletic scholarship. Her career path includes working with local Wood Buffalo indigenous bands from 2001 to 2004, Tax Preparation for four years, and two years with Syncrude Canada human resources based at site. Additionally, she has 16 rewarding years in various human resource leadership roles for Imperial Oil in Calgary.
With a strong belief in the power of compound interest and strategic financial management, Lindsay is committed to educating and empowering her clients to make informed financial decisions. Her focus on long-term financial consulting, coupled with her advocacy for starting to invest early, aligns with her mission to help clients achieve their financial goals.
Lindsay’s impressive background and experience in education, psychology, athletics, the energy sector, human resources, corporate leadership, taxes, and financial services all contribute to her well-rounded expertise as Managing Director and Agent at Pinkney Financial Services. Her commitment to providing reliable and comprehensive support sets her apart as a trusted advisor in the field of financial services.
Kristi Pinkney-Hines
Director and Business Agent
Kristi Pinkney-Hines RN, BSCN, OHN, is a Director and Business Agent at Pinkney Financial Services.
Kristi Pinkney-Hines attended K-12 in Fort McMurray Public Schools and graduated from the University of Alberta (collaborative program with Keyano College) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has an Occupational Health Nurse Graduate Specialty Diploma from St. Lawrence College in Brockville Ontario.
Kirsti is continually recognized as a leader in the business community and some of her achievements include her being the recipient of the 2019 ACC Alberta Business Awards of Distinction for Woman Entrepreneur and 2022 recipient of Queen Elizabeth’s II’s Platinum Medal for exceptional commitment to the community and the wider Province of Alberta. Most recently, Kristi was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner for 2023 by the Woman’s Executive Network (WXN) which recognizes women across Canada who make a transformational difference.

Reagan Gale
Reagan Gale, Life Insurance Agent
Reagan brings more than 12 years of experience in the finance and banking industry. Originally from Stephenville, Newfoundland, she is a Registered Financial & Retirement Advisor with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Memorial University.
Reagan prides herself on building a personal relationship with each of her clients to learn what is truly important to them. While she specializes in retirement planning, no financial goal is too small. She enjoys seeing clients achieve their dream vacations while also working towards an early retirement!
Reagan has been a proud resident of Fort McMurray since moving here with her husband 2012. When she’s not meeting clients she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two young boys, as well as time with friends. She appreciates any spare time she gets to read, go biking and gardening.
Reagan is looking forward to continuing to help new and existing clients optimize their savings to make their goals a reality.
Donna Rankin
Donna Rankin, Life Insurance Agent
Donna is marking her 20th year of service with Pinkney Financial Services.
Donna graduated from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance. Donna moved from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to Fort McMurray in the cold month of January 2006, and has been with Pinkney Financial Services ever since. With a broad range of industry knowledge, Donna welcomes both new and existing clients seeking advice.
Donna’s husband Daniel also hails from Cape Breton, where they visit annually to reunite with friends and family.
As a dedicated resident of Fort McMurray, Donna plans to continue helping current and former residents across Canada achieve their financial and insurance goals, both short-term and long-term.
Marianne Tan
Marianne Gail Tan, Life Insurance Advisor
Marianne is marking her 6th year of service at Pinkney Financial Services. She is a vibrant and dynamic individual, who has carved her path with determination and enthusiasm. Marianne is originally from the Philippines where she started her academic journey at Saint Louis University. In 2016, she took a significant leap by migrating to Canada, where her pursuit of knowledge and career advancement continued.
In her Canadian adventure, Marianne focused her studies on Business Administration in Accounting and in 2019 joined Pinkney Financial Services providing assistance to financial and tax clients.
Undeterred by challenges, she now sets her sights on broadening her understanding of Retirement & Estate planning further, aiming to become a well-rounded financial professional of all ages.
Marianne’s philosophy is encapsulated in a piece of advice she generously shares: “It’s never too late to start investing!” This mantra reflects on her belief in the limitless potential for growth and success.
