Pinkney Financial Services has done a great things for the charities in Fort McMurray. Not just for the Fort McMurray SPCA, but for the Wood Buffalo community at large. Wayne has put the community first and continues to support the Fort McMurray in a big way. Local Charities Pinkney Financial Services Supports
Centre of Hope
Pinkney Financial Services purchases pizza once a month and spends time with the locals.
Supporting individuals living in homelessness through collaboration with the community and its support systems. The centre offers shelter, transitional housing, and support for homelessness.
“Pinkney Financial Services has been a generous contributor to the Centre of Hope and the individuals we serve since 2019.
Mr. and Mrs. Pinkney (Wayne and Pat) have been supporting the Centre of Hope with several different events and sponsorship. Each month Pinkney Financial hosts “Pinkney Pizza Friday,” this is a major hit for the patrons we serve. Additionally, every week, Mrs. Pat Pinkney bakes and donates delicious goodies to our drop in.
Wayne and Pat attend and donate to our annual KD Gala, the Patron Christmas party, as well as make substantial donations to our Fire on Ice Survival event.
Wayne also likes to make volunteering a family affair, involving his grandchildren, by attending the Patron Christmas party, and providing McDonalds gift cards to all patrons as well as providing the Pizza for this special occasion.
It is because of individuals and businesses like Wayne and Pinkney Financial, the Centre of Hope can continue to provide services to our cities most vulnerable.”

Pinkney Financial Services has been a gold sponsor for several years wanting to support the welfare of animals.
There have been many beloved dogs over the years from Honey (left), Sandy 3 (centre) and the current family pet Rocco (right).

Pinkney Financial Services with Wayne Pinkney and George Alderman a successful American Business Owner from California teamed up and sponsored five (5) Families and nineteen (19) Ukrainians with flights to Fort McMurray and/or temporary housing due to the war.

Keyano College
Pinkney Financial supports Keyano College located in Fort McMurray by hiring business students for coop and non-coop experiences in the finance sector. Big shout out to our 3 Business students who did a fantastic job for the 2023 summer term.
